These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and services, including personalised health coaching, functional lab walk throughs, any downloads, newsletters, courses, online media and group programs. By using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.
2. Business Information
It’s Psoriasis is operated by Gemma Boak, and is based in the United Kingdom. Our services are available to clients worldwide, and these Terms apply to all users.
3. Scope of Services
We offer the following services:
- One-on-one and group coaching sessions via Zoom, Google Meet, WhatsApp and on occasion other platforms.
- Facilitation of functional lab testing and results walkthrough with lifestyle recommendations (education only)
- Digital products and online courses (education only)
- Membership-based coaching programs (education only)
Important Clarification: Our coaching services provide education, support, and guidance but do not constitute medical care. We do not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe treatments or meal plans, or advise discontinuation of medical treatments prescribed by healthcare providers. Lab reviews are educational in nature and do not constitute medical interpretation. Clients should always discuss lab results with their licensed healthcare provider.
4. Disclaimer of Medical Services
It’s Psoriasis does not provide medical services, diagnosis, or treatment. Our services complement but do not replace the care of licensed healthcare providers. Clients with psoriasis or other health conditions should maintain relationships with appropriate medical professionals.
As stated in our Privacy Policy, our services are for educational and informational purposes only. We do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe for any medical condition. The information provided in conversations, emails, or any other communication is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making any health decisions.
Any supplement recommendations are educational in nature. Clients should consult with healthcare providers before starting any supplement regimen, especially if taking medications or having existing health conditions.
5. User Eligibility & Website Use
Our services are available to individuals of all ages globally.
No account creation is required unless enrolling in an online course or group program.
By using our services, you confirm that you understand and accept these Terms.
6. Payments & Subscription Model
We accept payments through Stripe and bank transfer. Clients must use their own authorised payment method, and unauthorised use of another person’s payment details is strictly prohibited. Any fraudulent payment activity will result in immediate termination of services without refund.
Coaching and membership programs require upfront payment for a specific duration (e.g., 90 days).
Subscription-based services will continue on a rolling basis after the initial commitment unless canceled by the client.
7. Cancellation & Refund Policy
All payments are non-refundable, as they grant access to a fixed period of services.
Clients may cancel rolling subscriptions at any time after the initial term.
To cancel rolling subscriptions, clients must notify us via email at least 5 days prior to the next billing cycle to allow time to cancel the payment. If you can cancel the payment via the software and you stop using services, this works as cancellation also.
Missed Sessions: Clients are responsible for attending scheduled sessions. Missed sessions will not be refunded or rescheduled unless 24 hours’ notice is provided. To qualify for any satisfaction guarantees, ‘full participation’ means completion of all scheduled sessions, submission of requested information, and implementation of agreed-upon action steps.
Chargeback Protection: Once a lab test has been ordered and paid for on the client’s behalf, these services are non-reversible and non-refundable under all circumstances. Clients acknowledge that initiating a chargeback after a lab order has been placed constitutes a breach of this agreement. In the event of a chargeback dispute, It’s Psoriasis reserves the right to provide proof of lab orders and payment records to the relevant payment processor to contest the claim and pursue all appropriate remedies. By purchasing, clients acknowledge and agree to this policy.
8. Client Responsibilities
Clients acknowledge that their success depends on adherence to the coaching guidance provided.
It is the responsibility of the client to ensure any changes made to their health align with medical advice from their healthcare provider.
It’s Psoriasis is not responsible for any adverse effects resulting from a client’s health decisions.
Clients must disclose relevant health information to facilitate accurate and safe recommendations.
For clients who are parents or guardians seeking services on behalf of children, you confirm that you have legal authority to do so and consent to our processing of the child’s health information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9. Functional Lab Testing Disclaimer
While we facilitate functional lab testing, we do not operate the labs. You are sent a link to enable you to purchase the labs, Its Psoriasis is simply enabling you to buy your own lab. Therefore your lab purchase and contract is with the lab and we hold no liability or responsbility.
It’s Psoriasis is not liable for any errors or omissions by the labs, including missed or inaccurate results.
Clients are responsible for reviewing lab results with their healthcare provider and seeking appropriate medical advice.
Lab Shipping/Handling: Clients are responsible for proper sample collection and timely shipping of lab specimens. It’s Psoriasis is not responsible for lost, damaged, or improperly collected specimens.
International Lab Considerations: Clients ordering lab tests internationally understand there may be customs or import restrictions. It’s Psoriasis is not responsible for tests blocked, delayed, or confiscated by customs. Local labs to the client will be used where possible (most of the time).
10. Limitation of Liability
It’s Psoriasis is not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.
We do not guarantee specific health outcomes or results.
Clients use our services at their own risk and are encouraged to consult with a healthcare provider as needed. By engaging with our services, clients acknowledge that they have been advised to seek independent medical advice before making any health-related decisions based on our guidance.
By using our services, clients explicitly release It’s Psoriasis, its owner, and any affiliated parties from any claims, damages, or legal actions arising from their health decisions, treatment outcomes, or reliance on the information provided. Clients accept full responsibility for their own health and well-being.
11. Client Results & Testimonials
Results vary between individuals. Any testimonials or case studies shared represent unique experiences and are not guarantees of specific outcomes. Factors including medical history, compliance with recommendations, and individual biology affect results.
We do not promise or guarantee any specific health outcomes, symptom reduction, or disease reversal. Any examples of client results are not to be interpreted as promises or guarantees for your personal situation.
12. Intellectual Property Rights
All content, materials, and resources provided through coaching sessions or available on our website are the intellectual property of It’s Psoriasis.
Program materials, protocols, worksheets, and recordings are for personal use only. Clients may not share, reproduce, distribute, or resell any materials provided through our services.
Information shared in group settings is confidential. Clients may not record, share, or distribute content from group programs without written permission.
Unauthorised use, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited.
13. User Conduct and Acceptable Use
Clients agree to use our services for lawful purposes only and must not engage in behavior that could harm the service, It’s Psoriasis, or other clients.
14. Privacy and Confidentiality
We are committed to maintaining the confidentiality of all personal information shared during coaching sessions, except as required by law. Our detailed Privacy Policy is available on our website, which explains how we collect, use, store, and process your data.
As a UK-based business, we comply with UK data protection laws including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. We are registered with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). We maintain professional standards for protecting sensitive health information. Client lab results, health histories, and personal information are handled with appropriate security measures.
We take reasonable measures to protect the confidentiality of all personal information shared during coaching sessions. However, clients acknowledge that digital communications (email, WhatsApp, Zoom) may not be 100% secure and that transmission of information over the internet is not completely secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of data transmitted to our site.
We may use secure third-party services including Google Drive, Notion, and other platforms to store client information. By using our services, you consent to your data being stored on these platforms in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Coaching sessions may be recorded for quality assurance with client permission. We may also use AI-based tools to summarise lab results upon client request. Unauthorised recording of sessions by clients is strictly prohibited.
15. Communication Boundaries
Response times for emails and messages are typically within 48 business hours. For Whatsapp office hours, responses will be provided during the specified hours only.
Our services do not include emergency support. For urgent health concerns, clients should contact their healthcare provider or emergency services.
16. Termination of Services
It’s Psoriasis reserves the right to terminate services at any time if the client’s needs exceed our scope of practice, if the client is abusive or inappropriate, or if continuing the relationship would be unethical or illegal.
If services are terminated by It’s Psoriasis for reasons other than client misconduct, a prorated refund may be issued at our discretion for unused services.
17. Third-Party Links and Services
Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services.
It’s Psoriasis is not responsible for the content, security, or privacy practices of third-party providers.
18. Referral Relationships
We may receive referral fees or commissions from recommended labs or supplement companies. These relationships do not influence our recommendations, which are based on client needs.
19. Indemnification
Clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gemma Boak and/or It’s Psoriasis from any claims arising from their use of our services. This includes, but is not limited to, claims related to third-party actions such as functional lab testing providers, payment processors, and any third-party services recommended or facilitated as part of the coaching process.
20. Force Majeure
It’s Psoriasis shall not be liable for any failure or delay in providing services due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, technical failures, or third-party service failures. In such events, we will make reasonable efforts to notify clients and resume services as soon as practicable.
21. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action.
Any unresolved disputes will be subject to resolution in the courts of England and Wales.
If a client resides outside the UK, they agree that any legal disputes shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Clients expressly submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales and waive any right to claim jurisdiction in their local courts. Clients from other countries waive their rights to bring claims under their local laws and agree to resolve disputes exclusively through the UK legal system.

It’s Psoriasis reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time.
Clients will be notified of significant changes via email or through a notice on our website.
23. International Clients
Clients outside the UK are responsible for any applicable taxes, conversion fees, or bank charges associated with international payments. All fees are quoted in the currency specified on our website or during checkout, and It’s Psoriasis is not responsible for any fluctuations in exchange rates or additional fees imposed by the client’s financial institution.
